Domaine Rolet Vin de Paille displays a brilliant deep amber to golden bronze hue, with viscous tears that cling to the glass, hinting at its concentrated sweetness and high extract. On the nose, it is intensely aromatic and richly complex, offering layers of dried apricot, candied orange peel, and quince paste alongside notes of honey, toasted walnuts and almonds, with subtle hints of caramel, baking spices, and a delicate oxidative nuance typical of Jura wines.
On the palate, it is lusciously sweet yet beautifully balanced by a lively acidity that keeps it vibrant and fresh. Flavours echo the nose with dried fruits, fig jam, and orange marmalade, complemented by a soft nuttiness and a whisper of vanilla and spice. Its unctuous, silky texture coats the mouth without ever becoming cloying, leading to an exceptionally long finish filled with lingering notes of dried fruit, honeycomb, and roasted nuts. This indulgent wine pairs wonderfully with foie gras, pungent blue cheeses like Roquefort or Bleu d’Auvergne, tarte Tatin, or can simply be savoured on its own as a luxurious dessert in a glass.

Free Delivery on Orders Over £120
Orders over £120 qualify for free delivery to mainland UK addresses.
Next Working Day Delivery
Where possible, orders placed before 2:00pm will be dispatched the same day, subject to stock availability. All orders are shipped using a next working day delivery service; however, delivery times cannot be guaranteed due to circumstances outside of our control.
Orders placed after 2:00pm on Friday will be dispatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery (excluding Bank Holidays).
Age Verification Deliveries
In line with UK alcohol licensing regulations, all alcohol deliveries require an adult aged 18 or over to be present at the delivery address to accept the order. Our delivery partners may request photographic identification as proof of age.
If no one over 18 is available to receive the parcel, the courier will leave a notification with instructions on how to rearrange delivery for a more suitable time.
