Veuve Clicquot Rose Champagne
Madame Clicquot created the first blended Rosé in 1818 by adding some red wine to Yellow Label champagne. The result was Veuve Clicquot Rosé, a fruity and full-bodied expression of the Veuve Clicquot style.
A generous, refined champagne, with the presence of raspberry, wild strawberry and cherry aromas, evolving to notes of almond, dried apricot and biscuit. On the palate Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé is fresh and fruity with superb harmony and balance.
"Coppery-orange color. Expressive aromas of strawberry and very ripe wild strawberries. A full-bodied, structured, vinous palate which stays fresh. Length and character define this champagne." GILBERT & GAILLARD
Veuve Clicquot
The widow Clicquot, one of the two most famous French women of all (the other being Joan of Arc), conferred international renown on the house that bears her name, founded in 1772 and today possessing a fabulous vineyard of 363 ha.
